Malin Gezelius (born 1959 in Sandviken, Sweden) is a Swedish photographer whose work blends documentary clarity with a strong artistic sensibility. She studied photography at Hemse Folk High School (Folkhögskola) under Gunnar Smolianski and later at Nordens Fotoskola, Biskops-Arnö/Stockholm, mentored by Tuija Lindström and taught by leading photographers such as Christer Strömholm, Anders Petersen, Nan Goldin, Chris Killip, and others.

Since the early 1990s, Gezelius has exhibited widely across Sweden, including at Galleri Index, CFF, Galleri Kontrast, Arbetets museum, and Arvika Konsthall. She has received several major grants from the Swedish Arts Grants Committee and the Swedish Authors’ Fund, supporting her long-term artistic work.

In addition to her exhibition practice, she has worked extensively as a freelance photographer, particularly in book production focusing on architecture and cultural heritage. Her photography has been featured in numerous publications, and in 2021 she released her own book Amplexus through her publishing imprint.
